He is the head of the Conservation Risk Initiative Pbo in South Africa. He is responsible for the training sector of the African Field Guides Association and the Noctuam Poaching Prevention Academy, the former involved in training safari guides and the latter in training anti-poaching rangers for government and private bodies in South Africa and Namibia. He is the conservation expert for the African Tourism Board and works closely with the South African Embassy in Italy. He created the Security Skills Certification Scheme anti-poaching training protocol and he has trained over 600 guides and rangers throughout his career.
He is the owner of EcoTime and responsible for special projects in Africa and Northern Europe for Il Diamante tour operator.
He has written 22 books on nature, Africa and his life as a conservationist. He is a subject matter expert for the NATO Security Force Assistance Centre of Excellence and has actively collaborated with the European Parliament for conservation and the fight against poaching in Africa. He works as a guide, trainer and consultant in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania and other African countries. He manages the Diamond Collection.
