Monica Besomi is a professional in the world of tourism and hospitality for the Ticino area.
Thanks to a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality from the École Hôteliére de Lausanne and a Master’s in Smart Marketing from the Fachhochschule Graübunden, she brings a three-dimensional vision to the tourism sector. Furthermore, she has gained more than 10 years of experience in the public and private sectors, promoting both business and leisure tourism for Italian-speaking Switzerland and its attractions.
With this wealth of experience and expertise, she works with the Lugano Convention & Exhibition team to successfully attract and organise national and international conferences in the city of Lugano. Consequently, her task is also to follow all communications, online and offline, as well as sustainability projects for all the facilities managed by Lugano Convention & Exhibition: the Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano, adjacent to Parco Ciani; the historic Villa Ciani; the renovated Asilo Ciani; the large Exhibition Centre and the Capannone of Pregassona.
